To me 1600 ppm is high. I'm usually in the range of 1100-1300ppm and have herd you should not go over 1500ppm. PH lock is when your ph is off it will lock out different nutes. For hydroponics you want a ph about 5.7. For soil you want 6.5 ish.. I've seen a chart before I'll see if i can...
I basically have same setup as you. My fan is only 4" @ 190cfm; It keeps real cool even at half power. I did buy a filter but have not used it yet; you can find them on Ebay. I bought all my stuff off ebay..
Well I think the purple is because of cooler air. You been flowering 60 days, have you started your flush? Do you know what your pH is and PPM of your res?
If you are still feeding , you may have nute burn or ph lock.
Ok, I'll be starting my flush in about 8 days. I have heard you should still ph your water when you flush. My DWC system uses sulfuric acid as PH down. I was unsure if I should use this during the flush or just use plain tap water? My tap has a ph of 7.6 :-?
Thanks for your help!
:leaf:Day 40 of flowering
I did some trimming on top of the plants today (except the big bush one). I hope with some of these fat stems gone the buds will have more room to grow. The Big one (Full Moon) seems to already have some pretty dence buds so I left it alone.
So about 9 more days...
Was wondering if I should up my nutes.. Right now i'm mixing my nutes to 900ppm and after adding my Seaweed extract i'm around 1100ppm. Was thinking of upping the nutes to a total of 1300ppm.
Would I be ok at that level?
Thanks, really happy with results so far.. not sure what kind of yield to expect but hopping for the best.. Now if 3 weeks could just get here really fast...
Sorry to hear that, my first 2 grows were all Males. Turned out 7 out of 10 seed I got were all males. Had 100% females after buying fem seeds, I will never buy anything but fem seeds from now on..
Finally got some time to take pics of my roots.. They all looked pretty much the same so I only took pics of one plant. They're little discolored but that's mostly from the seaweed extract I use. I used 10" net pots, However Next grow I'll go to the 6" ones.
Thanks, Hoping CO2 will help some. Does anyone know if you can just mix sugar and yeast in a 5 gal bucket and leave the lid off? Maybe put a fan over the bucket or something... Would that work or would the alcohol byproduct kill the batch too quickly?
This is how I did mine.
I know it says pruning but they show topping
