oh ok thats what i did wrong. i connected - to - and + to + with wagos then had single - and + commig from them connected to the strips.
i took one driver out of the wagos and switch the positive and negative. so now each wago has a negative and positive from both drivers with a single wire...
i must of. so how would i wire the output in series? they are in wagos right now connected to the board.
would i take off the wagos and conect the output to half the strips then wire the other driver to the other half of the strips?
in series. the two positives in one wago. negatives in another. then a wire comming out of them and to the boards. id post pics but it isnt letting me on my phone
i used a multimeter and when i touch where the output goes into and out of the board i get a beep with the multimeter and it says 237.8v dc. and thats with the pots turned down all the way. when i touch the dc input part of the light and one of the strips the strip will light up very dimmly. but...
i have the strips wired in series not using the push connectors but rather soldered straight to the board. they are rated for 1400ma so 1050 is good.
they are the 22 inch strips.
so i have 18 eb strips wired in series to two 240-1050 meanwell drivers. the ac input of the drivers is wired to one power cord and the two output are wired together with wagos. im splitting the volts from the wall so it wont power the drivers. thus no light to the strips. how do i go about this...
Ive read a few posts on using several drivers but everything is super hard to understand even after reading several times. What im doing is very basic. Im building a eb strip light with 18 strips. Im using 2 hlg 240 at 1050ma. I plan to have 6 groups of 3 strips each. Each group of 3 will be...
This is a good idea. 4 seperate pots. Im gonna draw out a design for a powerboard and do exactly that. Ill also add extra wires to the strips incase a wire stops working i have a backup. Been watching lots of growmau5 vids.
Ive read a few things on potentiometers but its not really a straight forward answer. So ill do my best. So if i want to run one driver ill need a 100k pot. But if i need to run 2 off one pot i would need a 50k correct? And if i want to add more drivers would i need a lower ohm pot? Same with...
Currently building a light i should of built a while ago. I just have a quick question since i cant find it anywhere. How far apart do i space the heatsinks? They are the 105mm pin heatsinks from HLG. Running the cobs at 1050ma. I was thinking around a foot but im not sure. Im using ledil...
