I haven't noticed any difference in consistency from air drying vs air then heat, though the air dy only stuff tastes a tiny bit better. I was following the skunk farm tech but like I said i might ditch the heat all together.
So I've been making qwiso...I find the end consistency to be nearly 100% dependent on wash time.
My conclusions based on about 20 runs (so by no means an expert):
Using sugar leaf/trim from berry white...appx. 1oz per run.
Tech: 2 chinois strainers with cheesecloth in between, then through...
No males anywhere. 3 female mothers I've been using for awhile now....and lots of clones. I don't go anywhere where male cannabis pollen could be find.
Just going through my harvest and I'm finding seeds...lots of them, but only in certain nugs. There was one nug that had like 30 seeds in it, and the nug was less than 1 gram.
So I'm wondering what happened. If one or more of the plants was a true hermie wouldn't the whole crop be seeded? 90%...
I didn't put them in their. Using store bought soil mix and liquid organic nutes. Did they come in from outside? I guess it's almost spring. Winter is nice growing...Minimal pest problems.
I know earthworms are no big deal...but it's a long journey from outside into my grow room. Any insights?
I run 24/0 in the veg room...so I can go in whenever. I'm on a limited budget so I'll probably just get s small space heater or radiator and try to get the temp around 75.
Hey everyone....
So it's winter and I'm struggling to keep temps up in my basement veg room. Temp is around 60 w/50% humidity. Its more humid in the basement than upstairs. Should I add a space heater or something? Or maybe a light that creates more heat (vegging with fluros)? My last plant...
So I'm a newbie...been growing indoors with soil and pots. On my 3rd grow....finally I'll be getting a respectable harvest. My first 2 grows were good learning experiences...I've dealt with bugs, hermies, light burn, nute burn, you name it.
On to my question: should I water to 15-20% runoff...
My tap water which I use is 7.5...and runoff is 7.5. I don't know if over time the water ph changed the soil...because the soil has always been 7 til recently.
