So i checked on my plants this morning and noticed that, wtf, one of my plants was completely limp except for the new growth at the very top of the plant. So far i havn't changed anything and the other two look ok.... I'm using hydro under a 250 watt MH, very little nutes so far as they are...

smoking before/during puberty can seriously fuck you up. Your body can't take the extra "stimulus" or "strain" during that period of time. I HIGHLY recommend not smoking til your of age.

u guys got me thinkin bout tryin some out. I hav an old psu and a soldering iron, but i was thinking about buying a huge ass bread board and just using that as a fixture... it would probably melt tho if i try using any kind of LED's that would be worth while.... heat would prlly be an issue

i think we need to change the way we get our "leaders". it seems all of its old power old family bull shit. we need to take a pool of randomly qualified people from the "public" and give them a chance to enter in a "raffle" of some sort to choose the law makers for a single term of say 3 years...

Um, i think you guys missed the point, the point is to supply both blue and red light during flowering not just red.....using an hps alone is not the mixed lighting being talked about here what this thread is about is using a combo of MH and HPS tubes for flowering..... and not to pick a fight...

yea... 1st pic is both the blueberry and white widow, 2nd is the blueberry tops, 3rd is the white widow top 4th is a random pic of a bud, took these about a week or so ago :peace:

probably right around a foot give or take a few inches, it stretched out quite a bit 3-4 weeks into flowering

i would throw a MH in there to make ur bud better, the uvb it puts off stimulates the plants to make more resine, but if its commercial that really doesn't matta i guess :)

i'm growing a white widow and it didn't get very tall...maybe 2 1/2 feet well into flowering but thats the strain. My blueberry which is the same age is nearly 6 feet tall.

well.... i would at least take the plant out when mixing the chems.... depending on what your using to change your ph it could burn the roots if it comes in direct contact with them

i just read an article that says flowering with mh results in a lower yield but better smoke, the MH's produce more uvb which stimulates the plant to make more resin. I'm gona swap my hps for my MH every 3 days or so to bump my potency up a lil. Good lookin

awesome thread...i'm glad i stuck all my 6500k cfl's in my grow area when i started flowering, i initially did it to just add more light but now i see its gona make my weed more dank....and i'm thinkin bout switching for my mh bulb every few days as i'm nearing the end of my grow.
