  • hey, I went the same way as you just cut off until 4mm so it would fit nice and didn't make a rim i've posted some pictures on the stinkbud forum thanks for this :p
I know you use pure nft, are there any advantages using the spraysetup or do u think the nft way gives the exact same effect? is there still enough oxygen without the spraying or
do u use airstones? Thanks and hope is all well with your new growroom

Glad you are enjoying your system, and perfecting it to fit the needs you have. I use the spray setup for my Clone/Veg, but just found that the sprayers in the flower rails would often get completely clogged by the dense roots in the rails. So i feel i simplified things for my needs and went NFT on the flower rails with the waterfall effect of water back into reservoirs creating the oxygen for the water.

Also, when water isn't pumping roots are getting the oxygen they need. Overall seeing great results with my first flower cycle in the new room. I'll post some pics in the Stinkbud thread.
heya, I was looking to do the same as you in keeping the res outside my tent. I thought about a uniseal/bulkheadbut this will keep some water in the end of the rail since it's a bit higher than the pipe is that's bad or not? i saw you used a threaded coupler with cut holes in the sides did you glue a coupler with inner thread on the outside of the post then or use a nut inside? Thank you

The threaded coupler was spun right into a hole in the rail, then I just finished it off with a bead of silicone. As the thread formed a tight seal with the vinyl post when spun in. Really there are probably better and cheaper ways to do it, let me know if you come up with one.
