I live in New York it snows can't I just dig them and transfer them in a huge pot or cover it for a certain amount of hours to make it flip to flower

I live in New York it's the weather is getting cold my plants are 3 months and 3 weeks old and have not gone in flower should I digg them up and bring them inside would that affect my plants badly be for w.e reason they have gone into flower

Started of late my plants are 3 months 3 weeks old and have yet to go into flower or show sex yet what am I doing wrong
