I'm not really sure what you mean? You could use mirrors to surround a plant, but mylar over something solid would be better.

So had surgery the other week I haven't felt well enough to even water until today and hadn't thought of it beforehand so she went almost two full weeks without water. She really looks rough now, I also found out that letting the plant grow into the light actually does burn the plant pretty bad...

Plant looks good so far. Flowering is starting to progress nicely, a good number of bud sites have started to develop. Won't have another update till a week or two from now. I'll get pics up next update to show how far along she is.

That's good to hear man. I had an issue with it the first time and had to double the amount of perlite I use this round. Have you noticed any differences so far in stretching between the two lights?

It is kind of nice that infrequent watering decreases the maintenance needed with LEDs, but I'm curious about if it may be too infrequent? For instance, would it be better to do a hempy style grow under LEDs to keep watering once or twice a week? That way the plants can better take in nutes...

No, I ended up just switching over to LED because I needed to be able to run things more stealthy. With the HPS I couldn't keep temps under 90F without an inline fan on and it was too loud. Now I just use a couple pc fans and things stay at about 80F. I have found a few options for digital 150w...

I'm thinking that next fall once my warranty is up I might take it apart to see if I can find part numbers for the diodes. Then it'd be a matter of just looking them up and seeing how much they are.

I know HSS advertises their lights as having 6w and 3w diodes but I think they may actually be 10w running at 6w and probably 5w running at 3w. The only pic I've seen showing how much they actually draw is from SettingSun's grow on 420Mag from a while back. He used a PPF800 and got a draw of 189w.

Have you tested a PPF400 to know that's what it draws or seen them tested somewhere? Also is that for the version one or two of the light as they may be slightly different? On the label on the back of the HSS, does it list both a typical and max wattage? I've got a version 1 unit and it says...

Don't spend your money on a 90w UFO unless it is from a reputable company. Look in the LED subforum for links to different companies and some grow journals. I think you would be okay with just a single Kessil H350 in a 2x2 space instead of using two H150's. If you decide to go with the H150's...

I agree with brimck, repotting an auto will stunt it pretty bad if you don't do it early. By cutting the bottom off the pot and burying it 2-3" down into a second pot you give the roots a lot more room without stressing them nearly as much. The big issue with this is whether height is a problem...

New pics from yesterday, 12 days since flipping to 12/12. Trimmed out a bit of lower growth but left most of it. Had to raise the light a bit yesterday, still isn't stretching as much as I'd expected it to. Pre-flowers are starting to develop into more distinct bud sites now.
