I let the stems dry till they snap (not bend) then jar overnight in a dark place. take them out the next day for like a few minutes.. reorder them in the jar and seal it bck up in the dark again. i repeat that for about 3-5 days or until the "plant" smell is gone. Then I store in a cool dark...
