    PPM-2a Controller Calibration

The guy I sold it too told me calibration was messed up in shipping, and is reading 5000-6000ppm. HydroFarm never called me back or responded to my e-mail, so they are obviously trying to make me go away.. they have good products, but are useless for product support when it comes to C.A.P...

    PPM-2a Controller Calibration

Before the last company that distributed C.A.P. co2 controllers went out of business, it was fairly easy to send it in to be re-calibrated, than sent back. Hydrofarm is now the distributor of many of there products, so you would think they would be the company to contact if they need to be...

    Hygrozyme and composting

The hygrozyme is what appears to have inhibited the microbial activity, so I'm not sure I want to add more now... maybe after the mix is done composting. I could be wrong, so I'll just assume your saying hygrozyme doesn't negatively affect microbial activity. Thanks for the response.

    Hygrozyme and composting

I've been recycling my soil for a few months now with great success, and decided to use Hygrozyme to clean it out after a few cycles, and now I'm curious if I did it correctly. I added the Hygrozyme to my soil (diluted in water) after amending and mixing it, which must have been a mistake...

    20lbs CO2 in a week???

The warmer it is, the more co2 they use... That's why you can run slightly warmer temps in a close-loop system if your monitoring your levels. I keep mine at 1500ppm also, and temps range from 78-84f without showing signs of heat stress. If you would rather use less co2, keep temps lower but...

Effects of clone degeneration on new genetics

So it sounds like it was a recessive trait that hadn't expressed itself yet... that makes alot of sense. I will ditch them, and have to watch out for further TGA strains that may have this recessive trait, if that's possible. I'm curious if all of the phenotypes from that Space Dawg stock...

Effects of clone degeneration on new genetics

Thanks... I like to think I'm using solid stock, which many have attested to using TGA genetics... others not so much. I've never kept a mother with this one, so it could be possible that constantly running clones from clones for years accelerated degeneration.... if that is the issue. I'll...

Effects of clone degeneration on new genetics

I've been running a Space Dawg pheno for about three years now over many generations of clones, and over the past year the ovules in my buds have been resembling seeds more and more. I'm not ready to call them seeds because they are tiny and do not appear to be pollinated, as there are no...

    Space Dawg Dry Ice Hash

I decided to try this method to compare it with bubble... Started with 5 oz. of SD; about 90% buds/10% trim. First run: Shake for 1 min. w/75mn bag; 2.1 grams Second run: Shake for 30 sec. w/125mn bag; 7.2 grams Third run: Shake for 1 min. w/125mn bag; 4.6 grams The second run produced...

    Airpots and Supersoil...

I want to believe in it too, but even when I did have the air-pots in the correct position (doi) the final product was not notably better than that grown in the normal pots. I'm sure many will say different, but Sativa might have said it correctly when he stated they are not effective for...

    Airpots and Supersoil...

I'm not sure exactly what you mean, but am assuming your saying there are better mix's... I started using his recipe when I first got into organics and it has been a good mix, but I'm not naïve enough think its the best and am mainly using it because I only buy TGA genetics (which have been...

    Super Soil Mixer

I was gifted an outdoor fish pond tank, or whatever its called, and discovered that it was perfect for mixing and storing soil. The sides are rigid so you can use them as leverage for the shovel when mixing which saves your lower back a ton of work. I use this one for a half-batch and store it...

    Airpots and Supersoil...

Thanks for the info... I can see how the reservoir at the top of the pots would retain water if one hand-fed quickly, however I do it slowly to avoid losing any water out of the sides. Either way I'll correct this and see if this was the issue. I agree with everything you said Sativa and am...

    Airpots and Supersoil...

I've been using Subcool's recipe for a while now and recently changed to Ocean Forrest as a base soil. Although I'm getting better results overall, I've noticed the plants in the 8 gal. airpots are showing nute defs much earlier and the final product has been much worse than the bud grown in the...

    SuperSoil doesn't work with Airpots?

I've been using Subcool's recipe for a while now and recently changed to Ocean Forrest as a base soil. Although I'm getting better results overall, I've noticed the plants in the 8 gal. airpots are showing nute defs much earlier and the final product has been much worse than the bud grown in...
