the LEDs should be several inches from the tops of the plant. no LED should not make any room 90 degrees. did you make sure the ufo had the correct wavelengths and lumen output? and what brand is it?
check mine out, its under a 90w UFO and i keep it 1/2 an inch from the top...
friend helped me out so heres a bunch of pics. LSD doing great of course!
on another note, here is an outdoor sativa ill be stress training soon. i let it grow through a piece of a shoe rack lol
my 90w indoor blueberry. it just hit its 4th week of flowering.
and i bred a dj short blueberry...
good call on the humidifier. its always 55%-65% here so sometimes i forget.
for mine i stuck it in a 30 gal grow bag to start simply because seeds have taproots and the lower they go before getting constricted the better for growth. for clones i usually let them air prune and will gradually...
yes sir, gonna have a photographer friend come take some pics so they dont look so nastly. right now i got 3 sets of branches all within an inch. im sure there will be more stretching, but so far i can see the LSD is already responding better than most plants i have ever grown. the excitement is...
ya LSD is a great producer, but im pretty sure you meant flower, cure and smoke in 2011. if you didnt please message me the plans for your time machine
well thats very true because its still debatable. all im saying is that LED give more key lumens per watt, so yes its very necessary to get the right colors that work. otherwise its energy effeciently NOT ABSORBED. not to say i havent seen amazing result with HID. but i cant exactly go rip out a...
The reason they cant have a lot of light at first is because its during the dark cycle that excess energy is taken to the root. after they start they can eat up light. but some dark time help, some studies show the root size determines bud growth more than veg size. i would recommend putting...
for LEDs it can shoot from 1g/watt and up if you do it right and have a good LED color array for growing. 1g/1watt is much harder to attain with HID though
ya i was going to mention it but the next day it shed those 2 huge beautiful leaves so it obviously isn't detrimental.
Actually one of the nice things about supernatural is that all of its products are PH buffered. meaning no need for test equipment...i do have one somewhere so ill have to get...
a few pics of the seedling. im going to be growing her out to clone before flowering. so the basics first i guess
SOIL: Fox Farms ocean mist and light warrior mix
Nutrients: Going to be getting supernatural the whole way
Light: quad band UFO LED
CO2: none
sorry it took so long to put pictures...
The reason it seems to lose its "sativa high" is because it has more CBD/CBN and less THC. The reason being that THC degrades into CBD/CBN. CBD is the more body high and THC is more head high. cooking, for example, will heat the THC and cause a faster degradation from THC to CBD. Neither...
