This is my first plant that i planted outdoors about 2 weeks ago. I live in Miami and its pretty hot so does this look good so far? I also have a little bit of green growing on the soil is that bad?

Is it a must to germinize your seeds or can you just plant them in the pot and let them grow?

I bought some perlite because it seems like it helps with the drainage of the water but idk about how much to put. my pot is a big clay pot but not huge either. anyone know about how much perlite i should put?
