Yes I'm starting to believe that is what is going on, even though i know not to get water on the leaves when watering, i don't see as well now. And i watered them this morning and now they look better than they did, so it is definitely not over watering.

I don't think so, they have been watered twice in 16 days.

If the soil was that hot for them how would the new seed with the tap root survive? here are a couple of new pictures, the browning is only on the lowest level of the first set of leaves.

I'm thinking water burn for now also, got looking at them real close and it is only 1 leave on each plant. I didn't flush just gave them some water and raised the light up to about 20" i will see how they respond in the next couple of days.

I think for now i will flush the girls and raise the light to around 20" and see what happens. I would rather be on the safe side for now. and i will pay more attention when watering them. First grow with the led light.

They are planted in FF oceans soil. I wouldn't think it would be a calcium def. or nutrient related.

I have new led grow light, TOLYS 1000W LED Plant Grow Light... I have two new seedlings 15 days old on one of each of the leaves there are some brown spots showing up, is the light to close? The light has been about 14" away from the plants.

I have this led grow light TOLYS 1000W LED Plant Grow Light... On my two new seedlings do i have the light to close to my plants it hanging a foot above the plants, i,m starting to see some brown spots on 1 leave of each plant.
