get it as strong as you can! i think the CFLs are like 26 watts but there is a formula to work out the output cos its not 26w! Should be able to get them anywhere, i dnt know though, i strictly use HPS

NO!!!! look for some CFL bulbs! they are compact flourescents, the kind used to save energy.. get a day lite and cool white i think it is and you can grow with that. a million watts from a normal bulb still wouldnt be good enough.

With 40$ not much can be done. but, you can still grow. #1 Get 2 normal 120v light sockets. Buy two $15.00 2700k CFL bulbs from lowes or home depot. Hang light within 1' of top and sides of foliage. 18/6 lighting for first 1-2 months(veg). then 11/13 for the last two monthes (flowering) . also keep a fan on it. try to keep it at about 75 degrees F. if you can kinda impossible. if lights are a problem look around and above theres HID lighting everywhere.
