yes, you put the SS in the bottom of the pot then reg soil on top of that. a top dress at day 10-20 in flower will ensure you have enough nutes in the soil to make it to the end of flowering.

super soil doesn't "need" anything extra that's why it's super. the basis is just add water. so additives and things aren't really necessary. some people like to use molasses or some type of sugars at the end of flower, sometimes i do sometimes i don't. as far as RO water and cal/mag, I use my...

if you're able to mix up the full batch, just do it. the stuff lasts forever. mix it up once now and you'll have soil for the next year or more. if limited on space or funds, just do a half batch using half the charge pack?
