I would think the red spectrum in hp's would make immature ambers look a little darker. So ive always used a cfl when checking.
I'm no pro and have no evidence to back this up. This is just my opinion and what's worked for me.
I ran a 400w cooltube 6" with a 430 cfm centri fan through a scrubber in a 5x5x5 tent. Inner temps about 76 at 1\2 blower power 45% rh
Without the blower and ducting ghooked up, and only a 100cfm duct booster temps would hit 82-89.
(This is my opinion) Btus are BTUs whether ypou ventilate or not. Extraction just moves the BTUs produced somewhere else. It still produced the same. If you ventilate a tent into the room its in, your just dissipating BTUs. If you vent them outside BTUs go away. For instance in winter I vent my...
That wiring setup t is a mess.. Spend 100 dollars on new Romex and wire nuts, etc and rerun it.
I had a rigged setup in my garage and had to rewire it before I could weld. Not too hard.
Probably safe, but its almost impossible to see every inch of wiring. Rodents love to chew wiring and its a...
My first grow ever. I grew an auto within 173w of cfl lighting. Yielded 34g dry. (My avatar pic)
You don't "need" 5000k but it helps/makes a difference.
Not too much heat but you still need an exhaust fan. Fresh air is key. You ALWAYS need circulation.
And noome can tell ypou what your yield...
The oil filled heaters hold and dissipate heat for quite a long time after being off. Great for sheds and outside. But for a tent, use a ceramic fan-forced heater. Under 50 bucks
