Thank you. The fans work pretty good. With them turned off, the box gets super hot inside. Even when it's in a cold basement.

This is just to give y'all more ideas on building a simple grow box. I'd say it's big enough to realistically grow about one good size plant. You could grow like 4 mini plants in it if you really wanted (I would expect the harvest from the 1 one decent size plant to be larger and of better...

Wow it has been a while since I could work on this. Here are the latest pics of my progress. It's almost done! The top fan is pushing air out of the box while the bottom fan pulls in air. I'll probably build one of my cone shaped carbon filters for the top fan.

It's done! I went with 3 light sockets. I just threw in this bulb to test out the wiring. Digi. Timer for the lights. I made it so you can move it around to where ever you want. This is with the room lights off, but with the grow box's lights on and the door closed. NO...

Flush mounted the fans into the floor. Power cord comes out of that back fan hole opening. Made some holders for the filters. Still have to mount the light bulb sockets and wire them into the plug that goes into the timer which then goes to the surge...

Thanks for the responses everyone! It should be done this week. The hinges came with the stand. I bought it in pieces and just had to assemble it.
