to push the envilope a bit further and be even more of a help.... can i get my nutes from a garden centre??? and specifically what am i looking for??????? just to make things as clear as possible. when should i start half strength nutrients on my shoots which are 1inch and have just finished their 1st 18-6 light cycle.....

Yield per plant depends on, among other things, the size of the plant. Dwarfs might yield an ounce. Inddor in hydro I would say most growers would be disappointed with less than 2 oz, very satisfied with 3, and ecstatic with 4.

cool man, yhea they're coming along fine, seem to be a bit slow but growing anyway. can i ask around how much you usually get per plant? yeild wise

thanx for the post about the air pump, i went and bought that brand but got the 80watt version incase i want to expand. I need to know what i should start with for nutes as this is my first grow, what do i use to veg and to flower and in what concentrations? I also noticed ph is a factor as well as ppm not to sure what the ppm is in relation to if i get a digital gauge just need some help before i get fully into it.. got a air cooled 1000w mh for veg and 1000w hps for flower.

cool man, well my at the moment i have them each in approx 4"pots with biobizz light mix soil i think is the brand. seeds are an inch under and have had a little watering each, only been 3days so nothing yet, keeping them in a dark warmish place.
My set up for growing is a 250w cfl light 6400k but i also have a 125w red spec 2500k light, do you think i should just use the 250w or use them both or change them over...was planning on using 24/0 light schedule cos we dont mind the extra elec bill if its gona mean bigger yield but will take any advice on board. Any idea on how high to keep the light above plants with out burning? planing to build a box with aluminium foil on the inside and using 2 small pc fans for intake and output air, i hear they smell quite a bit so might try build a carbon filter to put on the output fan. We know nothing about nutrients either at the moment...any tips pr tricks you've learned would be great too! thanks for speading sharing knowledge and happiness man

i posted this message but got no response, i figured id hit u up. so im growing bubbleponics and ive noticed in one of my buckets the water is extra brown and the roots are really brown. at first i just thought it was the food, but now im thinking its algea? should i flush for a few days? the second strangest thing is ive noticed that some roots are growing up out of the rockwool near the stem. what is that all about? this is my first grow but my other two plants arent doing that. i was wondering if i should worry?

Love your post thinking about aeroponics and i heard you said there the future question they dont sit in water there just sprayed with water and it all drain back to the res kind of like ebb and flow thanks for anny feed back happy growing
