I agree didn't mean between waterings maybe if the fungus picks back up I will do it again or every once in awhile to prevent it from occuring.

Yeah I did that earlier today and flushed about 4 hours after. I think I might start giving them a solution during their dark periods in between waterings. Thanks for the help much appreciated +rep

I am having some problems with a fungus on the top of my soil. I tried misting it with a solution consisting of stablized hydrogen peroxide(3%) and water. The ratio was about 1:6, and I misted the leaves and made sure the soil got a good amount. The next day I noticed the fungus was no longer...

I just scraped off the 1st inch of soil and I am going to keep watering to a minimum. Hopefully I can get rid of this fungus or at least keep it at bay.

Yeah I am pretty sure it isn't stained perlite. Looks like some sort of fungus or something. I blew it off at first but it has increased. Maybe ill try watering less and only on the plant.

I wouldn't know if there is perlite in there or not, i used 2 random bags of soil in a 5 gal bucket.
