Anyone have any solid info on wtf this bugger is? Mixed up some soil started repotting clones and flung this guy onto one of the plants roots cluster. Freaked out trapped it in a cup. It buries itself in the dirt and flys around the cup.

What is going to give better heat dispersion, a 1/8 inch thick aluminum U channel 2 1/4 inch wide with 7/8 leg 46 inch long or a 2 inch wide 1/4 inch thick 46 inch long aluminum flat bar? I will be running 10 Samsung F series gen 3 running each at 1.3 amps may push it up to 2.5 amps down the road.

So ive gone pretty hard ive got ten of the double strip 3500 k coming and two 320 watt drivers. So if running at 300 per driver each led will be at 60 watts. So with any aluminum channel will my ambient temps in the tent stay reasonably low?

I just pulled the trigger on the fs. It was 350. 70 dollar difference. Figured if im desperate for a separate lights some day could pull 4 off and throw em on a another driver. But will have a bad ass light for now. I really appreciate all your grear advice.

How many would you put over a 4x4? Is 10 worth the investment? I figure 6 would do it but digikey discounts them at 10 and would keep light temps down to spread the amps.

Are the double row strips worth the cost difference from the single?
