It's probably heat related. I have a 1000w light in there. for most of the grow, I was battling with temperatures. I just recently got an air cooled reflector, so now the temperatures are down where they should be.
I'm coming down to the wire here. I'm not sure how close though because this is my first real grow not using crappy bag seed. I'm fighting the impatient urge to cut it down. I'm around 8 or 9 weeks flowering, I think. I don't know exactly when I started. I was thinking of letting it go...
One issue I am running into is the size of the roots. I'm using dwc, but I have them recirculating through four buckets and a 20 gallon reservoir. The buckets are 5 gallons. The roots in one of the 4 buckets are really big, and causing the bucket to overflow! The roots are blocking the return...
I'm using RO water. The PPM is almost zero before adding nutrients. When I add all the nutrients at half strength, the PPM will be around 800-900ish.
I calibrated both about 2 months ago. They weren't that far off when I did. I'll check them again.
Yea, I'm thinking it's the hungry plant, lol. My ph stays pretty rock solid since switching to the advanced nutrients ph perfect. But I've only been doing about half strength because I was told that full strength is too much. Im due for a nutrient change here shortly so maybe I'll up to 3/4...
I don't really have much room to move the light up. I guess Ill try tying them down a bit to give some clearance. I foliar fed them with Epsom salt. I also added a bit of Earth juice microblast because it has both magnesium and zinc in it, among others. Let's see how this goes.
I'm kinda new to this, and I'm not doing too good at figuring out this problem on my own. Can anyone help?
This batch is Nirvana Blackjack. I'm currently running rdwc...5 gallon buckets with a 1000w HPS. The tent is just about 4"x4". The bulb is aircooled, because in the beginning it made...
I mean, I'm pretty comfortable with the definition of natural, lol. I just don't really see the point in the whole autoflower variety. Couldn't you accomplish the same thing by just switching to 12/12 sooner? It kind of takes the fun out of growing if its on autopilot. I also read that they...
Haha, I'm an unfit parent. Well, like I said in a earlier post I was using organic nutrients. They didn't seem to be too well absorbed by the plants, and they started to turn yellow and eventually look like they were dying. No matter what I tried, they looked worse and worse. I knew I had to...
Yea, it def could be an autoflower. I don't know. It came from a bag of decent weed. It smelled like good really good stuff, and the high was pretty good from what I remember. It wasn't the best pot on earth, but it also didn't look like it was grown correctly. More like mid-grade stuff...
I had two plants on 24 hour light for probably about two months. They started to look realllly bad like they were dying a few weeks into it, and I figured it was either the nutrients or the fact it was a random bag seed. I actually didn't think they were going to make it, so I literally gave up...
Yea...I should of planned it out better. I made a scrog screen when I had two plants together, but they were too big already so it didn't look like the scrog would of been a good idea. It's a good thing I didn't too, cuz the second plant turned out to be a male. Next time when I get some...
hey guys. This is my first grow, and I've definitely made a lot of mistakes along the way. This plant has taken a beating throughout the whole process, and its still chugging along. I'm growing in a 3.5"x3.5" tent with a 1000w MH/HPS light. I just switched to the HPS bulb after I...
