Well looks like my dinafem diesel is not going to grow. The sprout hasn't grown past germination. Sucks but nothing I can do. I started another one to germ. Sooooo we'll just see. The other two have really taken off. One has her first true leaves and the other has her round leaves. I'm sure it wasn't anything I did to the other one. Hows yours doing papa bear?

That was what I'd pretty much determined. I'm germinating 3 and will clean out then start over. I'll leave bag plant in there and if it dies, it dies. I think it will just not grow well and start dropping but will probably pick back up when the nutes are back in. Either way, alive our dead, I'm growing these new ones. I'm glad for the experience though cause now I have a little understanding of how to"read" my plants. Thank God I took notes. Ty P B

Aw damn, I need some advice. I rec'd my beans from attitude. But my other plant is so big that if I germ these then put them in with that one I'll have to either drain all nutes and that may kill it or leave the nutes and that will kill the seedlings. Help!

Ugggghhhh I swear this thing better be a flippin girl cause it acts like a bitch! It was all good and perky Until the ph went up and the ppm went up too high. So being a good plant parent, I give her ph adjusted water. Alls good. Ppm under 800, how she likes it, ph 5.8, So you would think she's be happy!? Hell no. I knew she liked her water where it doesn't register on the lil bobber that tells you how much water is in the reservoir but it is just hardley bobbing on the min level. But I'm thinking well she's older so maybe she can handle it, Right? Wrong! I go in a while before lights out and she's all dropout again. I sort of cursed her out and told her she' d have to wait till lights back on. She is so damn picky. I now feel bad and wanna go fix her but lunches out is not over for another 3 : 45.

Today is day 15 from germination. All seems to be going well. Turned out the plant didn't like the lights so low. As soon as I moved them back up the leaves perked up and growth resumed. I know this contradicts everything since they are T 5's but what MJ wants MJ gets Anyhow, I've got 4 sets of true leaves and started the 18/6 schedule today. I moved the clip on fan to the top and its blowing out and added a larger fan inside. The hydro store guy indicated that this was what I needed. Funny how much it annoys me to not be able to go peek in on it but I'll get used to it. The stem has gotten stronger but I am still providing support with the made for plants twisty ties. Mostly cause its trying to grow crooked. Water change day is tomorrow. Which leads me to my question.

My ppm has gradually increased from 555 to 661. When I give nutes, what ppm should I aim for? The rise means that its using more water then nutes, right? I am not sure what to do with that information!?[/QUOTE]

I checked out your grow journal but I don't know how to subscribe. This morning I woke up to a total of 8 green leaves. So today I'm going to start 18/6. I called my hydroponic store and talked to them about air movement, especially since my tent is in a closet. They said to put my clip on fan blowing out and fresh air will suck in. also they said to put an oscillating fan inside. Have you grown hydroponic before? My ppm has risen so that indicates my plant is using more water then nutes right? Its time to change the water tomorrow. What should the ppm be? Its now 661.
