Cut only the ones not making it to the top of your secondary canopy. My 8 colas make up my upper manifolded canopy, my secondary canopy is of all the lower growth that was tall enough to reach adequate light. Some of these can sometimes turn bigger and more productive than one of the 8 main...

Mo, when are you sexing your plants? During veg or waiting till after you flip? If during veg, at what point do you take them to 12/12 and how long before they go back to veg from flowering? trying to figure out what is the best use of my time, sexing up front and pushing veg out by a couple...

Got some tester lineage from Jinxproof yesterday. He asked me to journal the grow of these beans and if everything turns out good he’ll mass produce them. I know one of the parents but I don’t know what the other parent is. This is going to be fun! I’ll post close up pics of the beans once...

That’s not my plant Bud. Your plant with 6 nodes is ready for the first cut. Instructions are in the thread or for a quick reference Google “mainlining by nebula haze on growweedeasy.com Good luck!

Pot size isn’t as important as having the proper amount of nodes. If you start at the beginning of this forum post 90% of your questions will he answered before you get a quarter of the way through it. Happy reading!

Give them 3-5 days after that heavy defoliation before flipping. Maybe a week to give them the time you need for the extra height you need.

I’d get rid of all that below your 8 tops. You’re going to grow through week 2-3 of flower and could easily double height. All those super long side branches would make beautiful clones! Keep the 8 tops and all the close short nodes below them. All the super long shit should go. Trust me.

I agree I wouldn’t go higher as 32 or more would work out better for an outdoor grow, but if you got the room, go for it! Personally I’ve seen such good results at 8 that I’ve never wanted to try 16. Plus the added veg time is something I wouldn’t want to keep dealing with. But seriously, go...

Thanks man. Yes the info on the defoliation is spot on from your interpretation of my notes. With 16 colas per plant you might find yourself pretty close to your goal, if not over goal. Make sure you have some tomato cage or bracing system in place as heavy colas as thick as your entire...

Very nice! You will likely defoliate at least once in veg and once in flower. Those will be good times to clean up your undergrowth to minimize any side branching or larfy bud sites. I would wait until about a week prior to flip to do the first defoliation and somewhere in the 2nd-3rd week of...

Thank goodness I check on my girls when they first wake up and right before they go to bed. I found a huge potential problem and was able to put a “bandaid” on it before anything terrible happens. When I do my very first cut I leave 1-1.5” of stem to keep the dreaded main stalk split at bay...

Diggs99 : Everything GROWS anything GOES!

Home appraisal went without a hitch! Tore down my grow room this morning and set it up as an office. Put the girls in wardrobe boxes from Uhaul and stuffed them in the shed in the yard, inspector never went near them! Time to put the garden back together and get the girls back under the...
