Appreciate the help you have offered. I was wondering if you knew about maybe starting in a shallow solo cup with soil, then transporting the root into either rockwool or directly into hydroton. I do realize that if I put soil into the hydroton, it will eventually wash into my resevoir and may cause clogging. I just can't get a seed to start in rockwool.

Well, first of all. The people that are giving you a hard time about growing
with CFL lights, obviously don't know what they are talking about when
it comes to growing with CFL lights. If you need any help.. or have any
questions just ask.

Just ask anyone else that knows about CFL lights.. and has used them
for growing and has experience with them like I do. You CAN grow
the same kind of marijuana... and have a nice harvest that might be
a few grams shorter... as if you were to grow and harvest with HPS/MH
lighting.

Although I educated myself pretty much.. I mostly would read papers
and any kind of articles pertaining to growing with CFL bulbs. But,
I also asked questions like everyone else. Especially if I could not
find the answer to my question through research.. I would then come
on here and ask the question to see if someone could help.
