    Coco potting up

All my pots get saturated and stay wet n heavy at first transplant. I don't have to touch my freshly rooted clones for a week after transplanting. Tried both ways and it's easier for me to leave the pots fully saturated.

    Why is defoliation so controversial?

I agree with Frost 100%. I pick all my strains carefully. Some beans/strains don't make it to production and the ones that do make it go thru a lengthy pheno hunt. Like a <1% keeper ratio 1/100. Must find the correct strain and pheno that works with how I grow. Defoliating is part of my process...

Any Optic 8 LED user here to help me set and dim for a 80cm x 80cm grow space?

I'm somewhat familiar with these lights. Last year I ran 16 of them for a little over 9 months. I found it best to veg with around 200 umls (approximately 5 feet canopy distance). The lighting control will vary depending on how far away your lights are. After the 2 week of veg can turn it up to...

    Why is defoliation so controversial?

I dont believe everything I read. I dont believe everything that I am told. However I do believe in experience, and experimenting, figuring things out on your own. Personally for me, there is no way I would not defoliate. Ive been defoilating before that famous term shazzing was coined and in my...

Experienced Electrician! Here to Answer Any and All Growroom Electrical Questions

The regulator essentially reduces overall power to slow your fan speed down. You're timers that are plugged into the regulator power strip may not be able to turn on with such low voltage coming from the strip. That's the only thing I can think of. But should be an easy and safe test to check...

Experienced Electrician! Here to Answer Any and All Growroom Electrical Questions

I don't recommend you installing a thermostat & timer in parallel to your fan. For one you would have to make a custom Y cable that plugs into both. Secondly if something malfunctions, which happens you got problems. Just saying..., depending on where you plug the timer and thermostat into you...

Experienced Electrician! Here to Answer Any and All Growroom Electrical Questions

3 wires no ground is no problem. Start work from shed end and finish at junction box. Attach new wires to exterior sub panel. Install grounding rod. Connect grounding rod the new grounding block in sub panel (you might have to buy this separately). In your case do not install the green...

1000 Watt HPS vs 630 LEC ( Light Emitting Ceramic)

For me I don't think 2x 630s would be overkill in a flowering 4x4 area. Might be overkill for others though. For vegging 1x would be acceptable for me. Everyone has different growing styles and lighting requirements. If you're unsure you could try 1x 630 and go from there. If needed it might be...

1000 Watt HPS vs 630 LEC ( Light Emitting Ceramic)

In flowering I switched from HPS to SS LEC 315s. 6 31k LECs over 4x8 tray. Not enough time has passed yet for me to give my honest opinion. But here's what I have noticed in 6 weeks. Big heat reduction, a little more crystal on the buds, increased sugar leaf to bud ratio, on center @ 8-12" from...
