Thanks. The responses vary a lot in that thread, if anything I'm more uncertain about the conditions that are causing the problem.
I think my best option is to flush out the root mat and nutrient solution for a day then see what happens when I add nutes again, adjusting pH after. Think I'll...
Hi guys
I posted pictures not long ago of my leaves showing what turned out to be a sign of calcium deficiency. I bought calmag and started foliar straying in the dark cycle and they're not showing signs of improvement. In fact, they're much worse. This is what the majority of the leaves look...
I usually allow ppm to drop with the water level then refill water + nutes to normal. I think I'll stop doing that and get some calmag.
Thanks a lot :)
About 5 or 6 here and there out of >100 for some reason. NFT system, 5.7 ph and nutrients fed as per the instructions (CF level normal but on the upper end). Is this a nute deficiency or nute burn? Or something else? Humidity is 60% at the most, almost 2 weeks into flowering.
Any help is...
Hi guys
I'm planning on having this kind of set-up soon and I'm wondering how you think this might work in terms of heat in a room of about 4.5m x 2.5m squared.
I am worried about having the exhaust vent of the air conditioner hanging out of/pointing towards the window but I'd like other...
I'm considering a 1.8kw grow set-up but I'm worried about the heat issue.
I understand a decent air conditioner would reduce a standard room's temperature considerably and consistently, but I'm not sure about the temperatures created from an A/C's vent hose if I were to have it hang outside the...
My last grow was a failed attempt at a scrog. I didn't achieve the yield I'd hoped for.
This time I'm prepared.
1.2m2 tent
600w HPS + 5" cooltube
5" extractor fan + carbon filter
1.2m2 scrog mesh
Strains are Tutankhamun, the highest recorded THC strain I could find (33%) and Super Bud from...
I want to share a transcription of a lecture about free will and determinism. It's one of the series of lectures you'll find in Professor Patrick Grim's course, "Philosophy of Mind: Brains, Consciousness, and Thinking Machines". Discussions like this represent some of the most important elements...
Hi guys, I've read all the posts and there are a lot of varied opinions, which is good.
I've been speaking with him recently to discuss the potential yield and before I accepted his money a few months back, I promised to return at least 3x his investment, currency exchanged to THC. Now that's...
If you allow 5 weeks of vegetative growth, I'd recommend 2 plants, each supported by a water tray capable of holding at least 5 litres of water, e.g. a "giant plus" Garland tray. The pots should be at least 35 litres and the preferred medium being rockwool, sandwiched between 2 inch layers of...
Yeah me too, Corso. I felt compelled to look into it after trying to grind what I thought was bone dry weed. It turned out to need another 3-4 days o_O.
For larger scale growers: a pretty convenient method of weighing might involve a digital hanging scale hooked up to a drying net. An idea...
Immediately after separating the buds from the main leaves and stems, you'll find that ~15% of the wet weight is indicative of dry yield, with ~3% variability.

Ever considered aeroponics?
Aeroflo 20s under 600w lights will yield 20oz from seedlings that are veg'd for 2 weeks. That's 0.94g/watt. Thought I'd put it forward as a more efficient set-up.
