No plant is ever 100% any sex until it's done growing. I've had females masturbate so hard you would think they were a male, or at least a full-fledged hermie. It's rare, but never say never.

I'm almost certain this is nut burn. Hermies will show their signs much earlier in the flowering process. I've had similar issues in the past and have found that by reducing nutrients the plants have sustained a more typical flowering period. Do not over reduce your nutrients though, however...
