Don't use schultz or miracle grow if you can avoid it. I you have to buy your nutrients at walmart or a lowes or something, but organic that is the best that they sell. Use something like 4-1-4 in early veg, then maybe a 8-4-6, then in flowering, cut the nitrogen out after first week, N is the first number. Maybe a 0-8-8, you need more phosphorus in week 4-7 or so depending on your strain.

If you are going to try hydro next time I would suggest you get a ph meter digital if possible and a tds meter (a must) before you try.

to be all honest i just use the soil and add water. i havnt added nuetrients (it got more when i transplanted to bigger pot because i added more fresh soil) this is my first grow and im probably moving to hydroponics next.

Ive seen shultz at either walmart or home depo can remember wich but anyway if i mix in some petrlite say a few handful for ever 3 or 5 gallon bukets would this give my them better and faster root growth and formation? Also is do you have to add nutes often(1 friend had to cuz he had soil great at 1st but not long) or will it suppot it the whole time? sorry so many questions like i said really tryn not to mess up and stunt growth or potantcy.
