Light is the same for plants as it is for animals. Would you like to sleep with lights on? While I'm not sure exactly your setup, it would be advised to ensure they are getting their 12 hours of "darkness", sans light. I prefer to actually give my flowering girls only 11, even.
I think you will see verrrry little difference between the 2 setups, if anything. A plant's ability for maximum metabolism is mostly based on the temperature in the room. In order for optimal CO2 to be utilized, you need about 85 degrees during the "day". The small light difference in...
That water would be fine to reuse. I have used it on house plants a number of times. It's a great way to recycle. While not exactly the same, a dehumidifier acts much like a distiller, just not quite the same. But I wager the water is absolutely fine to use.
Ditch the perlite. We go 100% coco and it works GREAT. I've NEVER had an issue with 100% coco, using fabric grow pots. Coco is KING! Coco works amazing with organic and synthetic nutrients. We have had great success with House & Garden Cocos line.
4k is definitely considered an "all-around" K rating. Sunpulse sells their 4k bulbs as "full-spectrum light good for all stages of growth".
Most people would argue you are going to lose 10-20% of your production by not focusing in on the right spectrums for each cycle.
You totally shouldn't be worried about yellowing leaves, even during veg. The lowest leaves are inevitably the first to go, because they will be getting the least amount of light. Did these come from near the bottom? The plant looks plenty healthy otherwise.
You get yellowing from 1 of three...
It's definitely plausible. How large is it? Just make sure to dig as wide as possible as to preserve as many roots as possible. You may end up with bugs coming from the outdoor plant/soil into other plants if you have them.
Sugar Black Rose's genetics were extremely stable/consistent with my experience as I've ran her a number of times from diff seeds.
Yeah, I did the exact same process to 2 different strains and like you said, I was spraying the whole plant. However, one plant is producing pollen that has no...
Yes, 2 hours of sunlight is equivocal to probably like 3-4 under the lights (although there truly is no real comparison). You should see something viable out of it. If you can, try to remove any high tree/shrub/brances that might allow more light to penetrate. Indicas while they can tolerate...
I'm starting to think I might be having the same issue with this plant.
The ones you had issues with, did you ever try a different plant of the same strain with success, or does it seem to be strain based?
Granted, it's only been 48 hours since I pollinated, so I'm sure I'm jumping the gun on...
Thank you both kindly for your replies. I definitely have TONS of open sacs, however, zero pollen dropping naturally from this strain. There are literally like 50 sacs just chilling in the dirt below, that fell off on their own accord. Plenty that I collected, and was able to pull what I...
