it wasn't actually my light. Just a similar one. My light is a ISH170. Which is i think is basically the same as the newer ish150v.
The two boards are ISH150. Slightly bigger than the ISH120.
My driver is
ELG-150-C2100-3Y
I have a LED board like this with a non dimmable 150w driver. Each board is 85w.
Can i simply add two more boards, keeping the same driver? Sharing 150w between 4 boards instead of 2?
And if so, it is there a noticeable efficiency increase?
No. You calculated the probability that a given 6 in a row would be male. You neglected the 7th event.
But more importantly, you need the probability that any 6 of the 7 would be male.
There are 128 different possible combinations of 7 seeds. From 7 males, to 7 females, to everything in...
I have one of the basic LEDs that are supposed to be fine with no heatsink, but I would just prefer if it were cooler. Is it worth adding for example various heatsinks from computer parts to the top of it.
Obviously the heatsinks designed for such boards is an option but then you are defeating...
The sensible route would be to chuck it.
Personally I would cut that cola, or else it will spread. then excise the worst part and water cure the rest. But I'm not sensible.
I have Neemazal T/S which is 10g/l azadirachtin.
I believe this is pretty much the same as Azamax?
I am not sure if i have root aphids, but I have had them in the past and want to prevent them.
I don't even know what language the Neemazal instructions are in.
i have placed cuttings in brown beer bottles of water. Replacing the water every few days, and it just works. Probably slower than other methods, but it still works.
how do you know how much light to give early autos without overdoing it or simply wasting electricity?
I have a couple of 30w 6700k CFLs.
I could use a 150W HPS but 98% of the light would be directed to the soil so it doesn't seem worthwhile.
With photoperiod plants I woudn't be bothered, but...
That is not a proper extraction fan. Really that is a duct fan. Quite loud too.
Black Orchid have some perfectly good proper fans. But they will be more expensive.
also consider getting bigger than you need, and using a speed controller to slow it down. This is how to achieve really low volume
