The recommended setup for this space is the 600w fixture, I just wanted the flexibility of two 400w strips long term, plus I can utilize the extra PPFD with Co2
You are correct, I wanted the flexibility later on to expand the setup if necessary. Hence why I have to run them at around 72% strength. The 600w fixture would be recommended for a 4x4
Here’s the tent setup:
2 x 400w Chilled Tech LED’s running in 4x4: Golden Lemons Day 27F
This is my sixth grow ever so far, still learning good effective training methods
So after spending a few days with 2x 400w Chilled strips in my 4x4 garden, I can say with confidence I am absolutely pleased with the investment.
Some things worth noting:
1. The quality of the build and components is top shelf (you can see and feel that excellent hand assembled USA quality)...
I ended up choosing to run 2x 400w strips for a 4x4 space for the extra juice, and flexibility over the 600w. Feels like i just got a nintendo for the first time!!!! Would love to see some in action shots if anyone would like to update
Check out Vitaly's Chilled 600w Fixture https://chilledgrowlights.com/our-products-services/commercial-led-grow-lights/gen-2-led-grow-light-600-watts. Im getting this one into a 4x4. Pretty much the tesla car of LED's right now. Otherwise Timber grow lights is another good option for cobs
Just about to upgrade my set of light fixtures from HPS to Chilled!
Having a hard time choosing between the 600w fixture for 4x4 vs 2x 800w for the option to get a higher PPFD and crank some co2. Going to stick a 200w single fixture in to my veg area.
Vitaly and Growmau5 know wtf is up, and i...
Im attempting to research these tents also, and cannot find much information in terms of reviews or in use. Would like to know if these are durable, and stand up to the german manufacturing that they boast
This is just one of things ive heard so many people say or promise to deliver on, but no one has really been able a solid code yet that embodies these beliefs of open source. I am not doubting you, I hope you succeed so we can all start building the most ultimate open source garden control system
