well its been around 30 days into 12/12

Well it looks like your well on your way to a great grow. Probably the #1 mistake, I see new growers make, is being in too much of a hurry and they take their plants too early. In their last couple of weeks most plants put on a lot of weight. Check the trichomes they are the best way I...

    what is easy to grow

If you are looking for "high yeild" you would have to go a long ways before you would find a stain that would yeild more than "Big Bud"!

How to water, do I use a spray or just water the soil?

I water the whole plant. When it rains outside the whole plant gets wet so I can see no reason not to water the entire plant. If mold is a problem then you might be watering too often.

The best way, that I have found, to tell when your plants should be harvested is the magnifying method of checking the colour of the trichomes. I use a 60-100X magnifying unit that I bought at Radio Shack for around $15. It works very well! Many people use a 30X magnifying glass to check and...

    cheap growing with ok buds??

I would start your seeds inside and once the last frost has come and gone plant you new plants outside. You don't have to use the expensive fertilizer you find in Hydro stores as common fertilizer like Miracle Grow will work. I'm not saying it will work as well a the expensive stuff but it...

    Dryin Your Buds....Food Dehrdrator?

Well this is the way I do it and it works very well for me. I hang branches from my plants to dry on ropes hanging inside an old barn. There is little light and a cool breeze (most of the time). I do this for about a month sometimes longer. I trim after the plants are dry. Trim goes for...

    Ontario Strains

I'm an Ontario grower. Lowryder is a strain a lot of people are talking about because it auto flowers. This means that the plant will flower regardless of the amount of light it is getting daily. Most strains will not flower until the lighting is about 12 hours of light a day and 12 hours of...

    Kanadian Growing

BaconSquishy, I can not think of an Indica or Indica cross that does not grow well in Southern Ontario. Sativa's are another story because of the long time some of them need to flower. If you are just starting out growing two stains of Indica's dom. plants come to mind, Big Bud and Skunk #1...

    Kanadian Growing

Hey MaxBax, maybe I miss led people a bit with my post. I do not re-veg outdoor plants, I re-veg indoor plants. I grow them indoors until I am ready to put them outside. Then they become outdoor plants. Sorry if I was a little confusing with my post.

    Kanadian Growing

I grow and am growing in Ontario Canada. Ontario is a very large province and the temperatures are a lot warmer in the south than the north so growing and strains differ around the province. Most people in southern or central Ontario put their crop outside from about May 24 to the first...

    Flowering

Most growers I know use HPS to flower as do I.

    hydro or dirt

I've done both and I like soil the best. I live very rural and we have a lot of power outages, therefore, I go with soil. A soil grow can go a long time with out electric power where as Hydro grows can not go as long.
