Very nice growth there, GB! It's beginning to look a little crowded in there, isn't it? Pot plants in hydro really explode. After they grow a while above the screen you can prune the leaves underneath, as you already know. Stuck my 3 little ladies in a small tub used as a mini-DWC system...

I keep getting things backwards, probably due to dyslexia! :? Right, the pH is supposed to go UP gradually as your plants eat their nutes. Not sure what can cause the pH to go down so much, other than possibly too high of a nute concentration.

Hey man! Just thought I'd pop my head in to see your latest photos. Aren't those leaves huge already? I really want to see how you train them in the SCROG. It could be challenging with the plants being so big. Don't worry about the one time that your pH dropped to 5.3 -- not as long as it...

Looks good, GB. I don't understand the criticism of this strain that you mentioned. I've always had great luck with Barney's Farm seeds. The germination rate you got (100%) is typical of what I've experienced with their seeds. Pineapple Chunk is a very potent strain. I think it was the...

Geez, I hope he's ok. I think we'd hear from him eventually if he got busted. I hope he's healthy.

I can’t recommend this Chinese tri meter: It worked for about a week or two, but the pH meter went whacky after that and read “1” all the time. So I returned it for a refund.

Gonna harvest this week! It won't be a big haul, but something at least.

You got some Photoshop skills, GB! LOL! Let's see if it works. Maybe you should post it on one of his threads?

Can’t keep a good plant down! That's one of the branches that was almost touching the lights, so I bent it and kinked the stem. It was just hanging down at first, but it eventually rose up like a boner on viagra. It’s amazing how these plants recover from trauma.

I've been tempted to just use hempy buckets with Perlite & coco fiber, but I keep getting drawn back to hydro. I want to get huge yields like The Dawg and Flowamasta get. The work won't be as bad as it sounds. It' all in preparation before you start growing.

I don't like to give up until I have to... This is a new closet and I never tried to grow more than one plant before, so I'm still getting used to the extra work required, too. I have some ideas to avoid these problems next time around. At least my "backup plants", Tabitha & Libby, are still...

They're pretty similar, so I don't notice any difference. (I'm colorblind though.) Have you turned on the red LEDs yet? That gives it lots of red. I followed The Dawg's method of turning on the red LEDs about 2-3 weeks into veg. The plants did really well in veg.

Interesting... Obviously, concentration matters. Maybe the article that mentioned plant damage used too high of a concentration. I would guess that it's no more harmful than h2o2 when used at about the same concentration, but I wouldn't bet an expensive plant on it, not without more...

We need a Dawg Signal! Something like the Bat Signal for calling Batman in an emergency. And I think there should be a smiley of a howling dog in The Dawg's honor.

Downward pressure on the lid is something to consider and unfortunately for me, I wasn't as smart as you to think of it. But you can reinforce the lid. Once I made an extra plastic ring that fit right around the hole that the net pot dropped down into. That helped keep the pot from slipping...
