Adding co2 will make your plants grow faster and healthier.

I don't think it will make your plants grow faster but i do know that it will make your plants bigger and tighter. (Less stretch) I haven't used a 250 watt and i do have a 400 watt. And my plants grew big before they even hit a month of vegging and i had to flip to still have that good light...
