OK so I went to my friends today to have a look at his setup, he's in a approx 1m x 1m x 2m cupboard with a 600 hps and temps must be OK because his 600 is about 1 foot away from tops and his plants look way better than mine. Funny thing he has no extraction whatsoever. Just a small 6 inch by 2...

Wow, what light was you using for the 32 oz and dimensions of grow space. I'll be more than happy with just an oz of each plant, in fact I'd be more than ecstatic my last grow under cfl yielded me only 14 grams dry.

I completely understand what your saying and was suggested to me on my last grow, I did 2 under a cfl but they didn't fill my room, I can see now I have my HPs how they would have done. I may try 2 next time then just 1 see which gets me the most.

I've positioned my large 12 inch fan at the bulb the wall behind redirects the air and hits my plants still. (But aren't I just heating up the air I'm blowing at my plants? I'll get a clip on and use that for my bulb and hood.)

I think eventually I'll do like you said and use the 4 inch as inlet and get a 6 inch as an outlet. Could I not just get another 4 inch but use it on low for the inlet and have my outlet set to high?

I live in north of england, it's not ac hot I'll open a window, but temps good rite now at 2 and a half feet distance. (I know this isn't good distance but it's better than crispy flowers)

Exhaust is at top of cupboard door and inlet bottom opposite corner. Add a centrifugal?? Centrifugal what lol?

Ambient temp of room the closet is in is 19 to 22 degrees. I've just moved the light further away. It's 28 at canopy now but light is about 2 and a half feet away.

I already have both.

It's 250 w HPs, 2 foot by 2 foot closet 7 foot tall. I have 12 inch pedestal fan positioned between the light and the canopy. Not sure to point it at the bulb or the canopy so it's just blowing straight across. I have the light 2 foot frim the canopy now and temps near canopy are 31 degrees...

Hi all recently upgraded from cfl to HPs, I can't have my lights where I want them because of heat. Leaves become brittle and curl at anything below 2 foot distance. I have a 4 inch exhaust fan but a passive inlet at about 3 quarters of the size. But since my inlet is passive can I make it larger?

Temps are too hot with light that low. :( I'm gna drill some more inlet holes in my door. I read the inlet should be half the size of the exhaust to keep the smell going through my filter, but my inlet is passive so I'm gna make it larger, I can always cover some of the holes if it's too much.

Rite now there's a faint smell of Cumberland sausage lol Herby but not definitely mj so I can get away with it.
