i just figured out one of my FOAF's bagseeds is a variation on NYC Diesel. What are some good tips anyone can give for dealing with this strain? 1st cut is coming, so i'm interested in round 2 helpful hints.. thanks!

you can end up with root problems really easily from doing this, if your soil doesn't drain proper it will rot the roots. i've been going over this as well. i've found it works best for me in this order. 1.5" rockwool for clones. 6" or 10" pots until rootbound or leaves are over the edges...

you'll get great compact growth if using floros and leaving them within about 1" of the plant tips, but your yield will suffer because unless you go with the hi-output floros, they just don't have the lumens you'd need to get big results.. they have a ton of advantages though, less heat, cost...

you're talking about an indoor closet in an apartment. you won't need to worry about the police flying over and noticing you unless you stick about 10 1000w HPS in there, pointing up. ;) is the closet against an outside wall? night temp changes can have negative effects on growth and sex. insulate!
