czechmate, you seem to be the right person who has exp. with CFLs!

grow tent 48 in. tall 24 in. wide and 48 in deep.

Looking to hang either CFLs or t5 HO flo on the top. The CFLs will be hanging horizontally as I have read that the light from CFLs comes from the side rather than top. If I use T5, then I will use 4 ft 8 tube 400 watt. I will raise plants rather than lower lights keeping top of plants 1-2 inches away.

Then looking to hang t5 HO florescents vertically on one wall (these will be 4 ft, 8 tube-400 watt) keeping plants approx 1-2 inches away from that wall.

Then looking to dangle a few CFLs on the other side of the plants approx 1-2 inches away from side of plants.

I will have 3-4 plants in the middle or in between one wall of lights and the dangling cfls.

I will switch out the bulbs when flowering...

do you think that my lighting will work all throughout the grow period? For veg and for flowering?
