Hey so I just dried my harvest and realized I dont have any more mason jars. Am I able to get the same curing effect using some other type of jars? I.e. pickle jars or tupperware containers.

This may just be me being retarded but what are other people's curing time cycles like? I mean I plan on doing 12h lid on / 2-3h lid off. But this leaves me having to wake up and open / close lids in the middle of the night. Am I just being stupid or do other people run into this problem?

I also have another question, could you use the freshly cut trimmings to make cannabutter? Would you have to cure it first or would that not matter since the thc would be getting transferred into the butter?

I was wondering if I should water the day before I give her darkness? Also when curing bud in mason jars could I put a bit of rice in maybe a stocking or something like that to contain them and suspend it in the jar to help in the curing? I know rice is used to keep moisture out of salt shakers...

Yeah I don't come across sativas too often, and when I do they are usually more expensive -.- So comes the price with living in non mmj states

I've been told that go by the trichs not the hairs, that buds will sometimes have new growth later in flowering. Is that not true?

I can't really get good close up's of the trichs but here are some picks from about a week ago. I am tentatively planning on choppin next monday.

I just checked my trichs under my scope and I would say that 90-95% of the trichs are cloudy, 4-5% are clear and maybe 1% starting to turn amber. How much longer does the collective consciousness think I have till I can harvest?

I may just be paranoid but I don't want the main cola to get too heavy and topple over, could I add wooden sticks to support the main stalk?

I have clipped a few ends to check the trichomes with my 40x microscope, they are mostly cloudy, some clear, some just turning amber.
