Well I guess I would say start with good genetics. With that said I found by keeping the temp of the roots close to, or within 10° of ambient temps will keep them tighter.

If your using floros to veg with keep your lights real close.

If your cloning take clones from the bushier plant if you have a choice. I did this four times and the last grow the plants were a bush, thats without training. It was the Apollo strain I grew. Its in my journals if you want to check it out.

If you have trouble there is a product you can use called Dutchmasters Bushmaster I have heard of. Its an additive that slows stretching.

Thats all I can think of.

Some of the cheap timers have 15 min increments. 15 min on and 30 min off would work.

Im using 550gph pump I think check out my sig for cabinet build journal.
I went ahead and got a cycle timer. Dam thing cost like $100 but I wanted to do it right. Anyway I run the sprinklers for 3 min and off for 10 min. you need the off time so cant go 24/7.

Hey Cruzer.. came across your bubble thread about co2. Im in the same boat. Ive got an aquatek regulator with only a bubble counter and a psi meter. No way to calculate the ppm or the cfh so I can use a calculator and figure out how long to run my regulator for. Any advice would be appreciated!
