Crunky's DIY stealth dresser, homemade LED light(VEG)

Update time: Took like 20 branches off, she was growing too much for me so I trimmed her up a ton. Before: After: Seedlings: I absolutely love how the stem is growing bark now, I officially got myself a tree :)

Yes it would hazi, typically most pure blue LEDs are more efficient because nearly all of the good white LEDs have a blue diode with a phosphor coating, so white LEDs will always be less efficient in terms of blue light. With the blue diode there's no phosphor to slow down or alter the light...

    Gotti's 600w Organic Perpetual Vert

Turtlehermit, do you live somewhere other than the US? 120v is what 98% of households in the US use for practically any appliance, tv, basically anything you can plug in. Most of the time the only exception is the house's washer/dryer area because dryers need 240v. I would try googling...

    Gotti's 600w Organic Perpetual Vert

Wow that's pretty good considering the wattage you've got in there. Is the ballast mounted outside the tent or inside? I'm sure that makes a difference. Also, doesn't it kinda seem detrimental to have CO2 with the door open? You're essentially letting all the CO2 escape from the bottom of the...

Took some clones, these are slightly smaller than the last batch. My hope is the smaller clones will root faster, we'll see. Before: After: Clones: My little Afrodite seed, poking up real nice:

Nice looking setup you have there. I have a couple questions. How are the temps with the 600w bare bulb? Do you have a beast of a fan exhausting hot air at the top of the tent? Your girls look great by the way! I've been thinking a lot about a vertical system myself, will be looking forward to...

Spots and rust coloration on fan leaves only after taking clones, pics to show.

pH is not an issue: Somewhere between 5 and 6 without any pH modifying liquids, I'd say that's ideal. This conditions have not been changed since this plant started growing. Here's how she looks now: As you can see, she doesn't look bad at all. Since clipping off the fan leaves showing this...

Sweet thanks budsmoker247! After checkin up on google I do not believe my plant has leaf spot fungus. The fan that cools the heatsink to my LED, it pushes quite a large amount of air, because of this my humidity is never more than 25% in my cab. I really can't see fungus growing in a 'windy' low...

Thanks, DIY is my specialty ;) it adds so much more to the 'fun' of growing. As to the cloner, no I'm sure if I let 'em do their thing they would have rooted, most of the clones had a couple root bumps on them, and 1 clone may have had 1 root, which I likely damaged. The only problem was I...

Well, I really don't have runoff as this is 1 gallon DWC grow. Distilled water is really the closest thing I have to 'clean' water. Distilled water is also low in PPMs, having no added nutrients to 'enhance' taste, as is the case with drinking water. Tap water where I live is highly highly...

I got this chocolope lady I've been vegging for quite some time now, and here's the thing. I've taken multiple shoots off this lady, mostly along the main stem. Now oddly enough, I took like 7-10 clones off her the other day. Since then, I've had quite a few of the predominate fan/water leaves...

Update: It seems the destroyer bean turned out to be no good :( real shame as I was really eager to see more of the equatorial sativa side of mary jane. When I put the little bean into the soil I know the soil had the perfect amount of moisture, air, and temp. It just never took off, it's like...

Let's see what we can learn from our mistakes

True that! Well I'm hoping the new genetics prove themselves. It may seem like no one's watching but that isn't always the case :P I've noticed RIU seems to have a lot more lurkers than some of the other sites but if you post they will come haha.

Info on LED lights, please help a brotha out

Wow, you're seriously lucky to have that kinda space to grow ganja in! I wouldn't even PARTLY consider going LED in that kinda space. For example, let's say you get a 600w hps, not sure about costs for these things since I'm a LED junky. Let's just say $500 for the whole setup, cooltube...
