Do you think I should flush and cut it down? Wasting light right?

Cut it down or what? This wreck of a plant started with brown curling leaves only at the top. The brown grew as leaves died. Help. Yes please.

My biggest concern came from all my other plants clearly showing female all over themselves. After searching high and low not one solid indication of female on this one.
