Good evening, CG. I just started reading your 20k Watt Journal...I'm truly amazed. I would be living my dream if I got the opportunity to run such an operation. I was just wondering if you'd be willing to share a couple of things with me.

How did you go about getting in contact with your investor? Were you guys already acquainted? If I wanted to perhaps land in your position, what would you recommend? I noticed that you mentioned that one should perfect their technique and I am definitely a believer in such advice. Should one create a portfolio and a business plan before looking for investors?

Any type of assistance or direction would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

You can get a light for as low as $100, and as high as $500. Miner were all in the higher range. I find it odd you asking me where to find lights since there are literally hundreds of web sites advertising lights.

Also, do you have a link on where to get good lights? Im pretty educated on growing on almost all aspects except lighting, hearing too many different sides. Been watching multiple friends of mine do it for years but just now starting myself.

I do not believe LED technology is good enough yet to warrant replacing HID lighting. When we start seeing large commercial grow ops using LED's we'll give them a try. But the truth is, I have yet to see a large commercial op use these lights. Furthermore, there are SO many LED's out there that are just total crap. Stck with HPS and soiless for dependable quality grows.

Hey gardener new to the site signed up just so i can talk to you since you know your stuff. Anyways, I never got to read the full thread so forgive me if I missed this but what is your opinion on Led lights? http://supergrowled.com/ This website makes em sound pretty good but wanted your opinion. I plan on using hydroponics too. Am i looking at a bigger yield compared to soil with 1000w hps? And since these lights dont give off heat and for 8 lights they seem pretty cheap at only 1600. So would it be cheaper to go with LED and hydro?

Hello, great thread on your warehouse grow op. I was wondering if you had to disclose your plans to grow to whomever you leased the warehouse from. If so how'd it work?
