These are the best made LED lights I have found. True 3W LED's all made from the newest and best materials.
I would also agree though with the above posts.
No I have made that mistake, that was my admission. I realize that in certain situations it can increase yield. The reason it may have done you wonders is because you have two plants in a SCROG and there wasn't enough air flow because the bigger fan leaves were restricting it.
In such a case...
Here's 20 something BC God Bud x Bubba Kush that I bred. Took me three generations to get to this point, now I've got to keep growing these seeds out 20 or so at a time to see if I can find a keeper. There's no way you can call me inexperienced, I've made every mistake in the book and I'm...
Of course but when you've got two plants the size of the TS's there's not going to be any good done... it's not like they are shading each other out, they are spaced nicely and there's no reason to get rid of large leaves in favor of small ones.
Here's a pic of a single Jack Herer(Haze Pheno) at 8 weeks, I too like to grow monsters.
Big deal, you think nobody here grows or something? lol
This was when I was in between grow rooms since I know someone's gonna jump on me for the brutal set up lol
That's true, but if you had not cut them you should have been able to get bigger yields, especially in a SCROG since that's the whole point of doing one in the first place(to be able to get a nice even canopy for your leaves to receive max light). If you take clones and try cutting the leaves...
To be more specific, each fan leaf is the power plant for that node. So if you cut a huge fan leaf from the stem, all growth stemming from that node will suffer.
No don't cut them!!! Never cut your leaves unless they are already near dead or are constricting air flow from underneath. They power your plant as well as store nutrients, cutting them will only bring down your harvest, I promise you!
