Just take a small part of a leaf near the buds at the top and check that under your little scope...you're looking for amber trics, the amount you want to see depends on the high you prefer, more amber means more couch-look and passing out. If you just have to eye it, you want to wait until all the hairs at the top look shriveled, if they are white and large and fresh-looking, they are still too new.

Ph after your nutes cause they will change the ph level. Even bagseed weed was good onced You don't need a scope to tell you buds are ready. you can visibly see the amber trichs/red hairs pulled back in. trust me you'll know. The hardest part is waiting. believe me we all get ancy, better to wait young skywalker.I love my drip system. It's the easist sytem I've used to date. tried em all pretty much. I res for nutes/ 1 res to catch waste/ you can build your tray any size you need to fit your space/ it's pretty much automated other than rez fill and drains. Strains only matter to pot snobs, if it tatses good and gets you high it's all good!!! String buds come from not enough light period. The more light you can get on them the denser they will be. i use a couple of flower enhancers (phosphorus)to stop vertical growth and pack on weight and shooting powder from house and garden, it almost restarts the flowering, it really pack the buds on. Read anything you can find on super cropping.

I just used the foil because the "Grow Guide" said that foil could be used. But the next go around it's going to be the whole entire room, with one of the better reflective material. I'm going to try and get all of the best equipment...I do have alot of question now...when are you suppose to put the ph salts in before or after the Nutes? How do I know when I should harvest, when I don't have anything to see the buds with? Do you think ebb and flow is better than NFT or potted plants? How do I know what strain have or for that matter can I just say that this is my own personal strain? I mean I removed all the males so there aren't any seeds (shouldn't be). And the people I deal with really don't know good weed the only thing they care about is if it's popcorn and not stringy....can I pass these bagseed plants as exotic....and get more money?

nice plants, i'd stay away from the foil though. use mylar or panda film, even white paint is better.
