Hey im new to riu and i joined low watt cfl cartel. just wondering if its ok if i use one fluorescent tube for my veg. everything else will be cfl just not my veg light. I dont wanna break the rules since its a cfl club. ohh and for one plant do you think 4 - 42w cfls 2700k will be good enough? im also going to keep my 20w t8 veg light on her all the way thru. as well.

You might be able to Jerry-rig it... I don't know all that much about wiring with 240 but these fixtures generally come with a hot cold and ground of which only the hot and cold are used and the ground simply screws into the mounting wall. As these don't come with any plug you might be able to wire your 240 plug using the ground as your second leg. Of course it wouldn't be grounded...
