Newbie with chronic pains needs CBD advice!

I've run analyses on two CBD strains, and both were essentially bunk at $25 or $30 an eighth. They were called White Harlequin and ACDC. CBD content was negligible, well below 5%. Finally I bought a third strain that actually had some CBD in it, Ringo's Gift, from a different dispensary. Please...

    Bud rot or bud worm?

It's not too late to check your drying bud for discoloration from rot, tho. BT/Bacillus thuringiensis is the organic spray of choice for caterpillars. Read up on it. http://pmep.cce.cornell.edu/profiles/extoxnet/24d-captan/bt-ext.html It is a beneficial bacterium, very short acting, that...

Question about curing and burping with mason jars and hygrometers

Thanks. I'm slowly figuring it out. I need to dry differently and trim differently depending on the strain. Funny, I grew GSC this year, too, but I thought the main colas had huge buds. Low expectations, I guess. :blsmoke: Did your plant look anything like mine? With dispensary clones, I take...

    Bud rot or bud worm?

Hey, it's possible to have both rot and budworm and to have rot from budworm. Ask me how I know this.>:( This year, my big, fat indica-dom plants both had major infestations rot, and I've seen only the odd damage here and there on my sativas. The only thing I could do with the indicas was...

Question about curing and burping with mason jars and hygrometers

I'm having a problem over-drying buds that I'm ready to cure. What's your curing room RH where you put buds in a paper bag? I'm going from 75% RH down to 55% overnight.

Suggestions for very distinct necrosis in spots?

Thanks for the response. I do understand fertilizers. I can promise you that my native soils have a pH in the range of 4.1 to 4.9 unfertilized. I agree leaching nitrogen fertilizers or organic matter can reduce pH, but there are other reasons, too, such as inadequate buffering capacity in the...

Sativa dominant - harvest soon? Plants over-watered?

I have no idea because I grow organic and there's no need to flush. I haven't been applying fertilizers for a month or more, just some blackstrap molasses for the hell of it. I gave up on using a bud and bloom fertilizer after I tested the pH and found out how low it was in low 4 range.

Sativa dominant - harvest soon? Plants over-watered?

Yeah, it's a mild mediterranean climate here in NorCal. There are years it doesn't even freeze.

Suggestions for very distinct necrosis in spots?

You think it's burn?! I don't fertilize enough for majors or secondaries to be a problem. I've seen fertilizer burn and usually the damage is between the veins. I agree damage at the margins is suggestive. If it's overload, it has to be traces- - the pH is embarrassingly low. Hmm. Only thing...

Sativa dominant - harvest soon? Plants over-watered?

Last year. I've been gardening longer than a lot of growers have been alive, tho.

Suggestions for very distinct necrosis in spots?

-Two saliva-dom strains, OG Ghost Train Haze #1 (which gets an A+ from me) and California Lamb Bread - two indica-dom strains not affected -In ground in raised bed with low pH (could be major or secondary nute deficiency but not trace mineral deficiency) -watering daily with dripper line -showed...

Sativa dominant - harvest soon? Plants over-watered?

Yeah, we are very lucky, but nothing is perfect. I found out that I can grow giant buds on indica dominant strains that will attract every budworm and fungus in the county. My losses to budworm on one indica were probably ⅔. The second, GSC, I'm going to harvest now to cull botrytis early...

Sativa dominant - harvest soon? Plants over-watered?

The problem with dispensary clones is I'm dependent on what's available each summer. What was great last year is never available this year, so it's learning all over again for each strain (or what they say the strain is). That's ok. I'll figure it out eventually. I'm patient. I'm watching...

Sativa dominant - harvest soon? Plants over-watered?

Yeah, so you'd think. It might be true for finishing the whole plant. I see the image was reduced, so I'll try the closeup again. I'm hanging tight and turning down the water a bit.

Sativa dominant - harvest soon? Plants over-watered?

I need help with my first in-ground outdoor medical grow. Right now I'm stressing over organically grown OG Ghost Train Haze #1 (or so they said at the dispensary :bigjoint:). I really dislike couch lock and want day herb. So I thought I'd harvest on milky trichomes and avoid amber completely...
