First i'm not a scrogger but I would imagine that you could prune a few fan leaves every few days, not all at once, up until the stretch is over. Usually about the 3-4 weeks into 12/12 they will be done reaching and start filling out.

As everyone else mentioned this is a terrible idea. I grow with my girlfriend, she's cool with it. If she wasn't, i'd be single. Growing without everyones consent who could go to PRISON(!) and lose property is not cool at all.

I count when I put a mature clone, even if straight out of the cloner. I know I can harvest, assuming I don't cause stress, between 7 1/2 weeks and 9 weeks with my current strain, every time. But if from seed and no preflowers? Probably best to just not count at all like someone else mentioned...

Looks male to me, young male preflowers look like pincers or something from a crab/scorpion. Let it go another day or two to be sure, it's gonna be obvious soon.

I only remove them in veg now if I have some really huge ones covering up a patch of branches that I want to grow and take as cuttings, in veg only. Anything you do that takes energy away from bud growth will effect yield and growth, imo.

You start counting when you make the switch from vegetation photoperiods to the 12/12 period(when dealing with sexually mature plants). So, your plant needs to go probably a minimum of 10 weeks of 12/12 lighting.

Cfls can be used very effectively in mini sogs. Lots of clones with no veg time gets you budscicles with some strains.
