I use them religiously. They work fine for veg or flower and i would suggest replacing them every 6 months opposed to 1 year...just because they are on the cheaper side and dont last as long. Remember u get what u pay for. Hope this helps ya

Flush your medium with a low ppm just your cal mag if using r/o and personally i would back off on the mollasses until they get a little bigger and more established before hitting them with nutes. Especially considering you just transplanted, did you feed with your transplant? Or just water...

no the t5s probably wont pack the punch but a HID lamp would. 400 watts in a 3x3x5 tent use 1.5 gallon pots in flowering 5 in pots for vegging. should get about 20-28gs per pot and you can fit ....... maybe 12 in the tent perfect nu mber..lol or do i plant per week to perpetuate 2 at the max.

I tried that as well and was hoping for some saved space. It ended up getting toooo hot. and it was also hard to control each individual shelf because they all gave off heat. hope this helps best of luck

absolutely i have suggestions. since ya obviously got the buck to spend on a hid go with a 400w or 600w. they tend to stay cool enough to grow a descent harvest and are pretty intense. also like jamnburn said look for a kit. Should come with a hood/reflector,socket assembly,ballast,bulb ready...
