    Greenhouse recessed beds in clay??

TokaLot has the right idea if you really want to do trenches in clay. The only other mod I would look at is to drain to a "French Drain". You slope the trenches so that they drain out of the greenhouse into a Pit. The pit is lined with landscaping fabric and filled with Gravel. This pit fills...

    ?? DIY Microkote/Spinout ??? Anyone done this?

Hey Man thanks for the response. What is it that they use? I just happen to have the sulfate on hand. I would be interested in hearing about the real thing. I don't have an issue with the money I just like making my own stuff when I can. Cheers!

I gotta back Dankdope on the CS thing. Way too easy to make it at home. Silver, 9 volt battery, and two wires will give you many years of breeding Fem seeds. $30 got me a couple feet of 14G wire. I have no idea how long it will last. Loving the photos guys. Keep up the good work!

    First Grow - CFL

Update: So down they come. I cut the Lemon Kush down. One turned out to be about twice the size of the other. Dense buds compared to the WW. The little one had a nice look to it even if it was significantly smaller. I trimmed it up as a single cola so I could see the total weight difference...

Let's Talk About How to Harness Hybrid Vigor and Potency

When breeding livestock I would maintain 2-4 different lines within the same breed, using those to outcrossing for vigour. This allows you to maintain the breed traits but still have vigour and variability within the desired traits or characteristics. Can this same idea be applied to MJ...

    First Grow - CFL

So I haven't done an update in a while. Totally delinquent. I finally got got a Loupe so that I can properly check the colour of the trichs. I'm trying to figure out how to get a decent picture with it as well. Maybe over the weekend I'll get that to work. Either way I will check how the Lemon...

Let's Talk About How to Harness Hybrid Vigor and Potency

WW, If you were to use the seed technique you mentioned to get your IBL what would be the next step to maintain and preserve what you have created? Do you just do some clones and self fertilize them to have a supply of seeds? Or do you then have to maintain a mother? Is there another way to...

    ?Gender based Trait inheritance?

JohnDee, that sounds very interesting. I haven't heard of before. Can you tell us a little more? i am waiting for my PCK order to arrive. Once I have a supply of seeds (regular and Fem) I will begin a small breeding program. Right I am just trying to work out in my head what that might look...

Let's Talk About How to Harness Hybrid Vigor and Potency

So basically if you cross 2 IBL you will get good increased vigour. Make new IBL from those crosses and then cross the new IBLs and you should get an improved vigour again...? but each time you make an IBL you will have a gradual decrease in vigour over time. So you can't have a cumulative...
