I should also mention that I changed my venting plan a bit and it's working great so far for temps.
I am using a passive intake from my master bathroom in a separate room, using a 6" inline fan and carbon filter to exhaust into the bedroom the closet is in.
This seems to work great as the...
Mostly done and plants are in. Added light trap for passive intake and added some PVC framing around the door to prevent the negative pressure from sucking in door too much. Temps stay at 80-82 with all lights turned all the way up.
Decided to try out air pots, just transplanted a few girls in...
Well. Your right, I should have and will make somthing to block light for a few hours while flowering. But currently my passive intake is from an adjacent room that is not used much and can be dark all day if needed.
Yes I will probably do that eventually but not totally concerned as night cycle will be at actual night while I am sleeping so there will be no light to leak in.
My plants seem happiest around 50,000-60,000 lux. (I think?) Reads 500-600 on my meter. I'm not sure what is perfect but I know what my plants have liked in the past. IMO Lux meter is all you need as it will give you the reference point to dial in height.
Life got busy and this project was on hold but I'm back and it's nearly finished. I think I will need to build a frame for the entrance as it currently seems a bit flimsy and sucks in too much from negative air pressure.
Still need to add my qb96 elite's and do some wire management but it's...
Put up another coat of paint and put in the passive air intake. Air just comes in from the room that the closet is in.
Put some cotton batons in the intake for filtering air and can easily replace by removing the air intake slats.
Second coat of paint applied. And 2 HLG-185-54 drivers showed up for the QB96 elite v2s.
Planning to finish paint and sealing this weekend and maybe start on ventilation.
Here is a couple Cali OG Kush x Haze in veg...with some Basil. Theses girls had an rough start but should be...
