Maybe we can reignite this convo, i recently moved to rural South Mississippi with plans to grow indoors in an out building just not on this scale. Wondering how this is going if it is at all bc of the decision reversal. I have a few years of experience from back home in a couple basements, just...
no bother with the ?'s bud.
wether the filter is in or out of the tent, as long as its attached to the fan itll slow the fan down some due to static pressure. im not necessarily advocating the filter in the tent thats just the way ive done mine in the past and will do in the future. ive only...
its absolutely fine to do it that way. if i had to guess id say 90% of folks that use air cooled hoods in a tent setup run it that way(unless they're running a sealed room with c02). if you have a centrifugal(inline) fan, not the little cheap plastic bladed duct booster fan, the 5m wont be an...
why not just hang the filter and fan in the tent, then run the exhaust end of your ducting into the attic? (filter>>hood>hood>>fan>>>exhaust into attic) why is it best for you to blow into the filter in the attic?
this is something id like to do eventually. im in the process of buying a house with the potential for a 20ish x13 basement space i intend on finishing. ive been looking at murphy doors with an electromagnetic entrance with a key fob. nice start, cant wait to see finished product:clap:
decent little setup there bud, but you'll be feeding all your flowering plants the same strength nutes at different stages of perpetualization? cant really tell but it also looks like youll have to lift up the posts to service the rez? i may be wrong but if im not, thats gonna be a pain in the ass
just popped some blueberry og wreck, blackberry kush x sour deisel, and some blueberry cookies from new420guy. getting back in the game after a 4 yr hiatus
I seen this and thought it was what you were going to do. Missed the fan size ? And got right into your temp issue. I don't see why the active intake wouldn't work. Run your exh fan about 3/4 speed and it should be just slightly higher cfm with filter than the intake fan. Some neg pressure but...
as long as youre sucking more air out then whats being sucked in youll have neg pressure. how many btus is your window ac, and sq ft. of your house? you wouldn't need much to cool a single 600w setup but if youre cooling your entire house with it plus a grow setup it may require a bigger unit...
